Mother Lode, Division 87 has 227 active members. The division sponsored a booth at the Tuolumne County Health Fair for the purpose of public awareness of CRTA and membership recruitment. Lenore Shively is president of Division 87.

Legislation

Division 87 supports legislation for its members for healthcare and pension equity.

Mini-Grants

Mini-grants will be offered this year to all credentialed teachers who are interested in developing a supplemental or extra-curricular activity for their class.

Membership

Division 87 has a goal of 15% increase in membership. All members are requested to recruit one or more new members. Retired teachers, spouses, and friends are eligible for membership.

Resources

CRTA has an Emergency Loan Fund that provides interest free loans to members in good standing who need emergency financial assistance, such as, loss of propery due to a natural disaster.
